Plenty of sport and a great deal of competition in schedule between the 27th and the 30th of September 2018 at Finale Ligure: mountain biking, climbing, trail running are set to be under the spotlights, together with real challenges amongst big names and enthusiasts of the disciplines alike
Bike riders, climbers and trail runners: you are all invited to Finale Ligure between the 27th and the 30th of September, for the 2018 edition of FLOW OUTDOOR FESTIVAL by VIBRAM, an event dedicated to all those outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in the region around Finale thanks to its countryside’s natural inclination. Amongst crags, trails, boulders and mtb routes, athletes and sport enthusiasts will be greeted with scenery and a landscape in which they will soon become able to live a unique experience and put to the test their own skills, thanks to a number of competitive events scheduled.
Amongst these, for the first time in Italy, the Enduro World Series Challenger: an enduro race open to all mountain biking enthusiasts who want to tackle an EWS challenge in a format that, although created to be more relaxed, is nevertheless able to offer to all participants a lot of fun. In fact, they will be using a selection of the race tracks that will be ridden by the EWS champions shortly afterwards. Friday 28 September and Saturday 29 September will be dedicated to open practice and racing, respectively. On the next day, Sunday 30 September, everyone will be able to spectate trackside at the grand finale of the Enduro World Series while the big names of the discipline, from all over the world, will be battling for the podium. A truly unique chance also for all racers participating in the Challenger, as they will share the start/finish stage with the pros and will also be able to compare their times with those of the EWS final ranking. Those that, instead, are in love with climbing should not miss the opportunity to take part in the Boulder Contest . A great chance to challenge other athletes over the walls that will animate Finalborgo; on Saturday 29 September competitions will be aimed at the adults, while the Sunday – 30 September – will be dedicated to the younger climbers (under 12 and 14/16/18 years). Registrations will be on site, during the days of FLOW by VIBRAM. On Sunday 30 September it will also be time of Best Trick, a great challenge amongst the best climbers.
Last but not least: all trail runners inspired to discover and race over Finale’s trails will be able to take part in Fly Trail Vibram, in memory of a friend who left us: an 11km long competition, with 600 m of climbing and start/finish line in Finalborgo. Sailing tours, free climbing, mountain biking, caving, trail running, e-biking, SUP, trail discovery: FLOW OUTDOOR FESTIVAL by VIBRAM has everything on offer: you will only have to pick the activity that best represents you and experience the region first hand. And, on top, the chance to watch two major international events: the Enduro World Series Grand Finale and Finale For Nepal, events that will take place in collaboration with FLOW. Providing, too, a great chance to meet athletes and pros of the different disciplines, and share the experience in a wonderful natural setting, between the blue colour of the Ligurian Sea and the shiny green of the hinterland.
